007: Quantum of Solace: Review
James Bond is a hero of cinema, not computer games. Fans of Crysis and Far Cry 2 with an ironic smile will remove another shooter about agent 007 from their hard drives only by seeing Daniela Craig, depicted by the engine of 2005. The game is not for them, but for those who want to get into a spy skin more tightly and see spectacular movie scenes.
Under "cinematography" V Quantum of Solace: The Game understands something similar to the game in the sand castles. Designers for all fantasy build a level that looks around from afar, and then come up with a script how to destroy this level more poial. The scripts wrote true geniuses of defeat: in front of the Bond’s nose the vaults of caverns and ruins, the shaft of the elevator, into which the agent entered, was flooded in a minute, and how many helicopters fell from the sky – do not count. Realism suffers from such tricks. Suppose Mr. White lives in a mined mansion, and the scenery of the opera theater can collapse during a sniper shootout, but why are drawers with explosives and cylinders with compressed gas at the airport and dungeons, at least kill you, kill.
At all Quantum of Solace: The Game rich in scripts. Dead opponents lie at the railing, running away villains do not even catch up with bullets. But the hit of the season is the special forces department, coming seconds four after Bond lit up on the cell or the guard gave alarm. Script special forces is a find. Play carefully, take off the guards with headshot, do not forget about the muffler – and the game turns into Stealth Action, twist everything 20Bet Casino revisione around the machine – instantly fluffy meat will run and a bloody bathhouse will begin. True, both modes on "Trochochka". The same enemies, small selection of weapons, the main character deprived of health, and even these "shelters" put up at every step, which do not protect against bullets, and do not allow to shoot accurately, and they interfere with freely – what drive you can talk about here?
Sometimes the developers had an enlightenment watch in which a duel with a roof helicopter was born, shooting a crowd of bandits greedy to the spy blood of a sniper rifle and a whole bunch of mini-games from a machine gun. The latter make it possible to feel like a canine, master of hand -to -hand combat and a hacker to any fool who can quickly reap the buttons. However, it could have been worse. For example, mini-games could take mini-rollers, like those accompanied "dizzying" Roof jumps.
The guys armed to the teeth that Bond faces during running around the abandoned corners of exotic countries have an extremely unstable psyche. They move exclusively for somersaults and jumps, shoot without warning and cannot sit in shelter for more than one minute: they pass weak nerves from the warrior, and they run one at a time – right towards the supraegent bullets.
As befits a license game, Quantum of Solace: The Game does not shine either with graphics, a plot, nor sound. Scriptwriters cut off from films "Casino piano" And "Quantum of mercy" The most memorable pieces and glued them with briefings stylized under the Internet correspondence of reconnaissance officers with a bond. Communication is more like collecting photographs of victims: White, Mollak, Dimitros, Le Shffre – for all one scenario: find and eliminate. But such a conveyor for the production of missions does not work long and soon issues the inscription "The end", What does Russian mean "The fantasy is over".
The developers have worked much more on the appearance of the project. Some levels turned out so great that even the Call of Duty 2 engine did not ditch the work of designers. The pursuit of the roofs of Italian houses demonstrates solid animation, the streets of Madagascar are rich in small objects, it is convenient to observe the skillful post -cutting pictures from the roof of the train to Montenegro. But not everywhere Quantum of Solace: The Game So good, far from everywhere. More than half of the game takes place in banal offices, warehouses, dark alleys and the incomprehensible nature of the dungeons, where you immediately begin to miss modern lighting and physics.
General result: Service game, classic License project, entertainment for one evening for an undemanding player.
Pros: beautiful and not interfering with the player script scenes;A bunch of mini-games;A pair of successfully planned levels.
Cons: Sumburic scenario;powerless opponents;Handering graphics.
